The South Riyadh Project is the first and largest private water treatment plant that treats groundwater sources through Reverse Osmosis Technology. It is an independent water project (IWP) implemented under a “build, own and operate” (BOO) model to meet the needs of the second industrial city in Riyadh and surrounding areas. The company entered into multiple Water Purchase Agreements with several clients for a contract period of up to 30 years on a take-or-pay basis. The South Riyadh Project water supply system consists of several ground wells, Reverse Osmosis plant with a capacity of 80,000 m3 per day, a 65 km water transmission line, 35 km water networks, break tanks and water pumping stations.
