Sustainability
Mowah is proudly recognized as an environmentally responsible organization, with sustainability woven into the fabric of our core values. We are deeply committed to environmental and energy practices that positively impact the planet, the nation, the communities in which we operate, and the individual.
By efficiently recycling and distributing essential natural resources such as water and solar energy, we are actively contributing to the development of thriving communities and sustainable urban infrastructure.
Our dedication to reducing the environmental impact of our business activities is evident through our ongoing efforts in energy conservation, the use of eco-friendly materials, resource efficiency, and enhanced recycling and waste management. In line with these goals, we have expanded into the renewables sector through our fully-owned subsidiary, Nayyar. Nayyar brings world-class expertise in developing utility-scale and C&I projects in alternative energy.

Our Approach to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
We understand that embracing ESG principles is no longer just a moral imperative; it also makes good business sense. Investors, consumers, and other stakeholders increasingly consider ESG factors when making decisions. By prioritizing ESG considerations, we can enhance our reputation, attract capital investment, mitigate risks, access new markets, and improve operational efficiency.
The Board of Directors is dedicated to aligning all activities and business operations with the company’s core values and guiding principles. We have implemented comprehensive rules, policies, responsibilities, accountability measures, and a code of ethics that govern our interactions with all internal and external stakeholders.
As Mowah’s portfolio rapidly expands and our business interests diversify, we are continually evaluating and enhancing our social obligations to foster and uphold transparency, integrity, and ethics in our operations.
Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030
Aligned with Vision 2030’s targets, we seize opportunities to contribute to Saudi’s national sustainability goals. This ambitious plan aims to diversify the economy and reduce dependence on oil by promoting renewable energy, enhancing water supply, improving water infrastructure, promoting energy efficiency, protecting the environment, and improving social welfare. Join us in making a positive impact on our planet and future generations. Together, we can achieve a more sustainable world.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
We are proud advocates of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a specific focus on SDGs 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, and 17. Our dedication to SDG 6 ensures clean water and sanitation for all, while SDG 7 drives our efforts toward affordable and clean energy. We promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth (SDG 8) and build resilient infrastructure to foster innovation (SDG 9). By supporting sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), taking urgent action to combat water scarcity and climate change (SDG 13), and fostering partnerships for the goals (SDG 17), Mowah is at the forefront of the global sustainability movement.

Corporate Social Responsibility
The company’s board of directors is committed to ensuring all activities and business operations align with the company’s core values and guiding principles.
Our CSR mechanism establishes the rules, policies, responsibilities, accountability and the code of ethics for our business and all internal and external stakeholders. With a rapidly expanding portfolio and increasingly diverse business interest, Mowah is continuously evaluating and improving our social obligations to promote and strengthen transparency, integrity and ethics in our business.
In addition to the board’s commitment to abide by the laws and regulations issued by the official authorities, the board must also ensure that the company takes voluntary steps to improve the living standards of workers and their families and contribute to the well-being of the local community and thus contribute to sustainable economic and social development. As a result, the board established the Social Responsibility policy on 22 March 2021.
