Mowah has established extensive expertise in providing environmental solutions and services, earning substantial experience as a developer and investor in large-scale environmental projects, including wastewater treatment plants and the reuse of Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) frameworks. The company remains committed to actively participating in key environmental PPP initiatives, both regionally and globally.
In 2019, Mowah, in collaboration with international partners, was awarded the Dammam Independent Sewage Treatment Project—the first of its kind—a PPP project under a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) structure. The plant has a capacity of 200,000 m³ per day and operates under a 25-year contract from the commercial operation date.
Mowah also operates and maintains numerous sewage treatment facilities and sewer networks. Its comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services for wastewater utilities include the management of sewage treatment plants, TSE polishing plants, sewage networks, TSE transmission pipelines, and lift stations.
