Client: Dammam West Company for Water

Scope of work: Operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and ancillary facilities. Mowah also undertakes design and operability reviews, pre-operations services, and commissioning support.

Contract start & duration: 2023 and for 25 years contract period

Dammam’s Independent Sewage Treatment Plant Project (ISTP) has successfully reached its Commercial Operation Date. The milestone was achieved in 2023 and marks a significant achievement for Mowah.

The Dammam ISTP Project is a result of a partnership between Mowah, holding a 40% stake, Metito a 40% stake, and Orascom a 20% stake. This collaboration has been instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution and successful operation of the project.
