Mowah-led Consortium bids for Aramco Project

The Consortium of Mowah Co. (CJSC)  and Lamar Investment Holding Company has recently submitted its bid for Aramco’s Jafurah Desalination BOOT project.  In response to the Request for Proposal (“RFP”) issued by Saudi Aramco on 18 October 2021, the consortium submitted a bid consisting of technical and commercial proposals which are currently under evaluation.

The Jafurah Desalination BOOT project’s scope covers the development, design, financing, construction, commissioning, testing, ownership, insurance, operation, maintenance and transfer of a greenfield seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant at or near Qurrayah in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom, the water transmission, storage and distribution network connecting the plant to the Jafurah Gas Field and  other relevant interconnection facilities and auxiliary equipment for the receipt of electricity from Saudi Aramco and for the interconnection and the delivery of the water to Saudi Aramco.

Mowah qualified as the Lead Developer for the project.
