We are thrilled to announce that MOWAH has successfully reached the financial close for the Jafurah Independent Water Plant Project in September 2023. This milestone marks a significant achievement for MOWAH as Lead Developer with its solid partners in this project, Al Bawani & Lamar Holding.
The Jafurah IWP Project will be developed following the PPP model. The project involves the construction of a sea water desalination plant with a capacity of 80,000 m3 per day with 200km of water distribution and transmission pipelines, along with electrical special facilities that are essential for the operation of the plant.
