The Dammam Independent Sewage Treatment Plant (ISTP) commenced commercial operations in 2023. This Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project, structured under a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) model, has an initial capacity of 200,000 cubic meters per day, expandable to 350,000 cubic meters per day, significantly improving wastewater treatment capabilities to serve the western region of Dammam.
