Water and Environmental Solutions and Services
Through its subsidiaries, Sal United and Meqdam, Mowah executes various projects using Public-Private Partnership (PPP) business models, including BOO, BOOT, ROT, and O&M contracts. With in-house expertise to manage the full project lifecycle—from development and financing to operations and maintenance—Mowah has successfully established consortiums with strategic partners, enabling competitive bids and delivering large-scale projects.
Mowah’s technology solutions division, Ciclo, offers a wide array of products spanning water treatment, wastewater treatment, and sludge management from leading global manufacturers such as ThermoSystem, Parkson, Evoqua, Sülzle KLEIN, EcoSorb OMI, and Lipp GmbH. Through its engineering unit, Mowah provides technical support, offering equipment packages and turnkey solutions across water, wastewater, and sludge management sectors.

Renewable Energy Solutions and Services
Mowah’s expansion into the energy sector underscores its commitment to growing and diversifying its portfolio. The company’s strategy focuses on developing utility-scale Independent Power Plants (IPP) and providing electricity from renewable sources to Commercial and Industrial (C&I) clients through long-term private power purchase agreements.
A standout achievement in this sector is Mowah’s investment in a renewable energy project in Egypt, showcasing its exceptional technical expertise and capabilities. Through its subsidiary Nayyar, Mowah has secured a 36.8% stake in Bahrain Enara Company to strengthen its foothold in the GCC’s renewable energy market. Bahrain Enara Company Ltd. holds a 50% stake in three Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs)—Subh Company Ltd., Sunrise Company Ltd., and Rising Sun Company—located in Benban, Egypt. These SPVs collectively manage three Solar Photovoltaic plants, each with a capacity of 50 MW, contributing an aggregate capacity of 150 MW. Operating under the feed-in tariff (FiT) program, each SPV has signed Power Purchase Agreements with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC), with payment guarantees backed by the Egyptian Ministry of Finance.
Nayyar’s advanced expertise in this pivotal sector has also enabled the development of a 6 MW solar photovoltaic plant, dedicated to supplying electricity to Mowah’s South Riyadh water treatment facility. This long-term project, spanning 25 years, exemplifies Mowah’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions and its leadership in renewable energy innovation.
